For No. 2, consult the product's care entry as well as the general guide. Its leather details mean you should not spread a treatment indiscriminately across every component. Follow the instructions for the part you are treating.
Work through a practical cleaning session
Empty the bag completely, including small front and side pockets. Remove loose dirt gently and identify the marks that actually need treatment. Keep a clean cloth or tool available so you are not moving grime from one panel to another.
Use the approved method on the relevant material without escalating to a stronger cleaner just because an old mark remains. Check the inside for moisture after treating the outside. Leave enough time for drying before you repack; a last-minute wash before an early departure is an avoidable complication.
During drying, inspect the shape without aggressively stretching or twisting the bag. Wait until the treated area is dry before judging its appearance. If the color or surface changes unexpectedly, stop further treatment and ask the manufacturer.

Keep toiletries contained and avoid leaving damp contents inside after a trip. Be mindful of contact with strongly dyed clothing, especially when either surface is new or wet. The maker discusses potential color transfer in its Kånken guidance; follow the advice that applies to your variant.
Check the zipper path before pulling through resistance. If a snag will not release gently, arrange repair rather than forcing it. Also choose the intended laptop version when a computer is central to your daily load; a familiar bag shape does not establish that every internal pocket is designed for that device.
